Flight Deal Websites
One of the biggest reasons Matt and I are able to travel on a budget is because we find cheap flights. If you are like me, you don’t have time to be searching for flight deals all day long. Lucky for us, there are many great websites that will send you an email when they have found a great deal.
Here’s how they work: You can subscribe to their emails for free and they will send you 25% of the deals that they find. These deals can be for any airport in the US, not necessarily the closest airport to you. I recommend subscribing to a couple to get an idea of what airports most of their deals are coming from. You also have the option to pay for a premium subscription. With a premium subscription you get access to 100% of the deals that they find (rather than 25%), the emails are sent out a little earlier than they are sent out to free subscribers, and you are able to customize it so that you are only receiving emails that are applicable to the airports you want.
Take a look at the sites below and sign up for all or a few that will work for you.
*Most of these websites can be found on Instagram as well. I recommend going to their website first to sign up for their free emails, then following them on Instagram. Be sure to turn on notifications for their profile so that you will be notified when they’ve found a deal. This way you will get notified on your phone rather than having to search in your email.*

Personally, I am subscribed to most of them for free, and I have a premium subscription to one or two. Here’s another secret, I only buy a premium subscription when it’s on sale, such as on Black Friday or other holidays. If you don’t have an immediate trip coming up, wait to check on holidays to see if any of them are offering their Premium subscription for a discount.
In conclusion, I recommend purchasing a subscription to your favorite one if you have a trip coming up within the next 6 months. The price of the subscription is way worth it when you are able to get a cheap flight out of it.
