Below we’ve compiled a list of our favorite products for camping. We believe that based off of our experience you will love these products too.
TENT
First of all, you’ll need a good shelter. We upgraded to this tent last year and have absolutely loved it. We love that it is an easy pop-up tent that doesn’t have separate poles to set-up or take down. It is large enough to fit two queen size air mattresses side by side with a walkway in between, and about 2-3 feet in front of the air mattresses as well, so plenty of walking room and enough space to put your belongings.
We have the 8 person tent, but it comes in a 6 and 10 person as well.

Sleeping Pads
Since you are going to be sleeping on the ground, let’s make it as comfortable as we can. Matt and I love our queen air mattress for camping long-term and our sleeping pads for backpacking or shorter camping trips.
The air mattress is more comfortable, but larger and heavier to bring. The sleeping pads are lightweight and these ones are pretty comfortable and have great reviews. They have built-in foot pump but can also be orally blown up.

Sleeping Bag
Sleeping bags are pretty basic. However, we love sleeping bags with a flannel inside because they are warmer. We particularly like these kind that can zip together and become a double sleeping bag.
This isn’t the exact sleeping bag we have, because ours are 30+ years old (which shows how long they last), but link to a similar sleeping bag here.
We also have this sleeping bag which we love for warmer weather because it is so lightweight. It is already a double sleeping bag so that is nice, and it stuffs so small and is easy to pack.

Chairs
It is so important to have a comfortable place to sit around the fire and chill in during the day. We have a couple of favorites when it comes to camping chairs.
The traditional camping chair is great for all around camping. We love that it comes with cup holders to hold your drinks or other small items.
We also love these collapsable camping chairs. These are lightweight and portable and great for backpacking or when you want to pack more compact. They are also really comfortable because they sit closer to the ground, which I love.

Tables
When it comes to camping, it’s super nice to have a table to place things on, play games on, or to hold your drinks. We love the design of this table because it has everything you would ever need, plus it collapses and we love that.

Hammocks
Who doesn’t love to kick back and relax in a hammock while camping? We prefer double hammocks because you can be fully encompassed within, but singles work too.
We have tried out a few different kinds of straps and have found what we think are the best ones.

Miscellaneous
This one is for all the girls and women out there. If you have ever been camping and there was not a bathroom close by, you know how difficult it is to go to the bathroom in the wilderness. This invention, the GoGirl, makes it so much easier for girls to go #1 in the outdoors. No need to squat or worry about getting anything on your clothes or shoes. The GoGirl is easy to use and easy to clean and stow away until the next use. I definitely recommend getting the pack with the extension tube though, otherwise it can still be messy.
